This is the type of event I truly enjoy. To start with it’s FREE for those who attend. Not that I don’t see value, don’t pay for and get paid for events – I definitely do! But these are the little ways I like to contribute to my fellow co-workers, friends, clients and possible prospects. Bringing a little bit of knowledge, communicating and exchanging of ideas and just meeting new people is another great way to enjoy my workday even more. I especially love the casual, open forum-style (breakfast at La Madeleine!), much like a BarCamp. Maybe it shouldn’t be about what you DO today, as much as it should be about how you CONTRIBUTE.
